Mauritius
Re-opening October 1st 2006 after refurbishment - Details available at bottom of page.
Le Victoria is a stunning hotel that has been designed with a fresh, nautical style in mind, featuring subtle shades of blue and white in respect of its enviable ocean setting. This stylish accommodation is situated on the west coast of Mauritius, close to the capital city of Port Louis and just over one hour from the airport. This is a spacious resort featuring amongst the more heavenly beaches and lagoons in Mauritius, but is also renowned for its comprehensive range of activities and light, cheery character.

Facilities
Le Superbe Restaurant: Seating 380, this excellent eatery is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and
situated close to the pool with amazing views across the lagoon. Le Superbe offers a casual atmosphere and al fresco dining. Huge buffets of local and international cuisine combine with colourful theme nights to make for a wonderful dining and entertainment experience.
La Table du Chef: An original concept relevant only to dinners in the evening, La Table du Chef is essentially a ‘private dining room’ integrated within Le Superbe and overlooking the pool. Here, a few lucky souls can sample wonderful meals specially created by the Chef, while being pampered with top quality service! If you wish to celebrate a special occasion – such as, indeed, your marriage – in the company of a few friends, this is just the way to do it at Le Victoria – offering, as it does, privacy and the feeling of exclusivity that such a taste of the high life affords!
Le Victoria offers a splendid range of sports and leisure activities that includes tennis, table tennis, American billiards, volleyball, football, cycling, bocci (or bocce) ball (similar to bowls or pétanque), access to the 9-hole golf course at Trou aux Biches, a gym and yoga. All sports are FREE with the exceptions of golf, cycling and American billiards.
You can also indulge in waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, pedal-boat rides, glass bottom boat trips, scuba diving, snorkelling, ‘aqua-gym’, deep sea fishing and catamaran cruises. All sea sports are FREE except for catamaran cruises, deep sea fishing and scuba diving.
Evening entertainment is provided via a variety of shows displaying the richness of Mauritian culture. There are also Asian nights, Indian nights, Sega dancing nights and jazz evenings. Children are also wonderfully catered for with their very own Mini Club.

Refurbishment update - September 6th 2006
Beachcomber is delighted to announce that Le Victoria is reopening early on 01 October 2006.
The hotel was set to open for sales from 15th November.
Le Victoria is already well known for having some of the most spacious accommodation on the island and now with a £5.5m redevelopment, a fresh new look, bold and vibrant new colour scheme and fully refurbished public areas, we are sure that Le Victoria will once again be one of our bestsellers.
Apart from an all over refurbishment and upgrade of the whole hotel, it is important to note that the rooms and room categories at Le Victoria have had a significant upgrade.
The old Standard Rooms on the ground and first floor have been renamed and are now known as SUPERIOR ROOMS and the old Superior Rooms, on the top floor of the hotel, are now DELUXE ROOMS.
The Superior Rooms can still accommodate two adults and two children under 18, but the Deluxe Rooms now only accommodate two adults and one child.
