Almond Morgan Bay Beach Resort St-LuciaThe former St James's Club, already a wildly popular hotel has been bought by Almond Resorts, and has had a brand spanking new makeover to create the island's newest resort. It combines an elegant, but informal setting to offer singles, couples and families a high-quality all-inclusive Caribbean vacation in St. Lucia. Located on the West Coast of St. Lucia, a mere 3 miles from the capital city, Castries and about 25 miles from Hewanorra International Airport, Almond Morgan Bay is the first new destination outside of the Almond Resort's group's home in Barbados. Tucked away on 22 acres against a backdrop of palm trees and a stretch of black coral sand beach cove and beautiful landscaped gardens.
Facilities Found among the gardens are 2 new swimming pools, making a grand total of 4. A range of water sports are available, including snorkeling, windsurfing and kayaking. On land, guests can play tennis on any of four lighted courts or enjoy golf at St. Lucia Golf & Country Club's 18-hole course 2.5 km (1.5 miles away). There's a fabulous kids' club that caters for newborn babies, right up to teenagers, with 5 separate age groups and for the adults there is a beauty salon offering all kinds of rubs, scrubs, massages and facials, as well as hydrotherapy treatments. Adults also have their own peaceful area, with kid-free pools. There are 4 gourmet restaurants all of them serving la carte dinner with French/Creole, continental and seafood options. There are 4 bars too, serving premium-brand drinks as part of the all-inclusive package. With nightly entertainment with floor shows there is plenty to amuse you. Accommodation There are 238 rooms in total to choose from, from one of our six accommodation block sets on the St. Lucia resort property in the tropical gardens or directly on the beach. All newly refurbished rooms include balcony or terrace, air conditioning and ceiling fan, private bath and shower, in room safe, king-size or double bed (according to request), satellite colour TV, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and board. Standard Rooms are found on the ground floor beautifully nestled amidst our tropical gardens. Sleeps max 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Deluxe or Garden view Rooms are located on the ground floors once again and have views of the garden or pools. Sleeps max 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. There are other room options available.
