Riu Tropical Bay The Riu Tropical Bay is an all-inclusive resort on the Bloody Bay; what is arguably Jamaica’s most delightful beach. The resort is carved in a Victorian manner, laying on magnificent private gardens, and housing a majestic lobby which leads you into your vacation. The white sand beach offers you the opportunity to rest under a palm tree, or try your hand at the many water sports available.
Facilities The beach and pool at the Riu Tropical Bay Resort is clean and delightful. You only need to walk about a mile and you are right on the beach. There are plenty of chairs available and no need to reserve one. There are two quaint pools, one of which can be used to play water-polo. You can take part in activities like volleyball and water fitness in the morning. Dining at the Riu Tropical Bay Resort is excellent. There are lots of restaurants and the food is sumptuous. You can indulge in fresh sea food, chicken, pastas, and lots of spicy delights. The a la carte restaurant is particularly exquisite. Rooms When it is time to rest at the Riu Tropical Bay Resort you have a number of rooms to choose from. There is the Standard Double Room, offering a couple of double beds, cable television, and bathroom with bathtub, a hairdryer, and provisions for the handicapped, a mini-bar, and a telephone. The rooms are adjoining and there is a liquor dispenser available. If you’d like to go one step further then you can stay in the Deluxe Double Room, which gives you an ocean facing aspect from the balcony or Lanai. You could also either book the Junior Suite or the Superior Double Room, which offer the best comforts of the Riu Tropical Bay Resort.
