Booking our Wedding and Honeymoon through White Sands Weddings was the best thing we ever did, we knew that we wanted to steer clear of the whole Church theme when we got married and we had our sights on a beach wedding but with plenty for the children to do.  From the first enquiry to White Sands Weddings, Lesley Dean forwarded me her personal views on what to do and where to go, we opted in the end for Mauritius as it seemed that this was very geared up for couples with children.  We were not disappointed, everything was just so perfect, we have had the most amazing time at the Shandrani Hotel, everything is included, we can even Water ski now, after a few failed attempts, nothing is too much trouble.  We will definitely be returning.  A very big thank you for the help, support and guidance from Lesley Dean in making our time there so special.

Well I'm now officially Mrs Greyling - thanks for all your help in the bookings and now I'm looking forward to my son's wedding at the same venue next year.  They loved it so much that they wanted to have their wedding there too.
 
Part of our wedding package was having our flowers pressed and framed.  Unfortunately, we weren't given this before we left and I completely forgot to ask about them.  Can you please find out how we can get these?

Just wanted to email you and thank you so much for making our wedding what it was! ALL your advice was spot on and we honestly had the time of our lives. The Shandrani was absolutely fantastic and I can't say enough about Sandrine especially, but also Daniel the photographer and the staff in general!

Although Sandrine was constantly busy she always had time to come meet us and sort out any issues we had. I'm going to email her later and thank her myself - we also had a picture taken with both Sandrine and Daniel wihch I'll send through to them both.

The wedding day itself was amazing - we had a lovely hot day to get married on, the clouds suddenly appeared about 4ish creating some fantastic photo opportunities as the sun went down thereafter and then the evening with the guitarists and the meal on the beach for 15 was just superb. Weirdly inbetween the ceremony and the evening on the beach the heavens opened up, it rained for about an hour and then it cleared up instantly, leaving us with a lovely warm evening and a full moon. I can only say it was nothiing short of perfect and thats largely attributed to yourself, Sandrine and a lot of luck with the weather!!

We honestly didn't want to leave Mauritius - everybody who joined us out there had no bad words to say about the whole time they were there (apart from maybe the bookings of restaurants sometimes which proved to be a little disorganised but as all of the restaurants we so good it really didnt matter!!). It was an experience none of us will ever forget! Very sad when we parted ways to head west when they headed north but we soon fell into honeymoon mode when we entered the Four Rosemead. That place was beautiful, the staff couldn't have more helpful and we had a great time despite the storm that arrived just before we got there. We travelled to Cape Point, Boulders Beach, Simons Town etc with a tour guide Zane on the first day which was brilliant checked out The Waterfront and Camps Bay all of which we loved.

Undoubtedly the highlight of the South Africa trip was the Shamwari Game Reserve though - we were so exctied about going there and we lucked out completely with our Ranger Sean - he was such a great guide and a fantastic laugh, not to mention the guys who we're lumped with us were lovely people as well - collectively it was everyones first experience of Safari and we all were blown away. We were nicknamed the A-Team whilst there as we managedto locate a lot of the animals for the rest of the jeeps to come have a look at! There's not much we didnt see to be honest and again the staff were fantastic, not to mention the accomodation...hardly a tent - more like a viking kings bedroom! Awesome.

And finally the perfect wind-down at Klein Genot which was beautiful: great staff once more and such a wonderful building and restaurant. We were so happy there we didn't go to any other restaurant the whole time - the food was absolutely amazing. It was so chilled out there - we just walked around taking in the picturesque views and wanting not to believe we were soon to be on our way home.

But then saying that, when we eventually did arrive home, apart from a longing to just go back to Mauritius and lie on the beach for another week or 9, we actually didn't feel too bad as both knew that everything that we'd experienced in the last three weeks just couldn't have gopne any better and so it was great to just cap it all off with a glass of champagne with the parents and start letting it sink in just how lucky we had been.

And so, with that, I'll bore you no longer, but I'll say once more just how happy and delighted we are with everything you did for us - I've mentioned it before, but it truely was something that my new wife and I will hold dearly in our hearts forever. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!

I have been aiming to contact you since we got back but its been mad with settling in our new house etc etc.
I wanted to contact you to say that we had a GREAT time!!! It was absolutely fantastic!! Everything went very well and so smoothly. The wedding planner in Mauritius, Sandrine was excellent. She met us when we arrived at the hotel, and she went through everything with us. She was very organised, extremely helpful and kept us well informed every step of the way.

A few family members came out for the wedding, (only a small number) but it was still great! and they all had a great time...they didnt want to leave Mauritius!!!
The Shandrani Hotel also was fabulous!! The service was goood and all the staff were so nice and helpful. They recognised us from our wedding and would say hi all the time and ask if we were ok and having a nice time!!! that was really sweet!

Thank you for all your help and assistance in planning our wedding, and all your advice. Thanks for answering all my stupid questions, and telling me that it was all going to be fine (you were right!!). It all turned out brilliant and we are very happy, with some great memories of our day.
