Tailor Made New York Weddings

New York is one area where we have arranged a number of tailor made events, ranging from intimate locations for two, through to wedding parties of 40 or more.

Central Park is often a favourite, even with our tailor made groups - and our services can include arranging coaches for guests, private receptions and really anything as far as you can imagine.

One of our recent examples was at a venue chosen by our couple when visiting New York the year previous & they then just passed all of the details to us.

Example

Our client visited New York in search of their favourite wedding location. At this stage they had already been in contact with us & asked if they found their chosen venue, would we coordinate this for them.

Whilst in New York they were so excited that they called us immediatley to ask if we could work with All Souls Church, with their ceremony in the main sanctuary. This was quite simple, as this is a venue that we already featured - but using the chapel instead, so by having the contacts in place - it was very easy for us to confirm availability for the date that they wanted.

This was for a large wedding party, and the clients had a number of requirements with how they wished their day to proceed. This included a reception at the Waldorf Astoria, photographs in the Conservatory Gardens & to make sure that their guests travelled in style.

For the guests we looked at a number of options, such as limousines & coaches, but we then found something that met halfway between the two - a limobus. The limobus was perfect, as this had sofa's, complimentary drinks bar, TV etc. This was the ideal way to make sure that everyone arrived at the same time.

A strict timeline was needed throughout, otherwise this would have caused problems with the reception that they were having at the Waldorf - and so with our coordinator on site this ensured that everything went to plan.

At the time of booking their wedding, our couple were still undecided on where to honeymoon. They were certain that they wanted to stay at the Waldorf in New York, and then travel somewhere for another 10 nights. From New York we were able to look at some many options for them, and they then settled on Hawaii.

We recently got married in New York at All Souls Church on Lexington Avenue.We were married in the Sanctuary, it is such a beautiful place to get married as the church is so impressive. The highlight of the service was Rev Leslie, who delivered an intimate and personal service. It was above and beyond my expectations and everyone who attended was very moved by his words.

The reception was held at the Waldorf Astoria with  26 guests in attendance.We had two rooms, one for a cocktail reception and after dinner dance and another for the meal, both of which were breathtaking. The food was fantastic, service excellent and both rooms were beautifully decorated. I would definitaley recommend the Waldorf as it really did turn out to be our dream wedding.

Trix, our wedding photographer was great. She made the day much more fun and we were really pleased with our pictures. Angela the co-coordinator was also great and the flowers were gorgeous!

Mark, we were apprehensive about going abroad as it is such an important day but the worry was removed from the first phone call  to you. Thanks for all your help, it seems strange not to be emailing you as you know I did an awful lot with lots and lots of questions!
