About White Sand Weddings

White Sand Weddings specialise in overseas weddings and honeymoon travel arrangments to most long haul destinations.  These may include the Caribbean, Indian Ocean or even further to the distant shores of the Pacific Islands and Australia.  One thing is certain though – we are here to make sure that your plans run smoothly from your initial point of contact through to when you arrive safely back in the UK as husband and wife.

Who are we & what do we do...

White Sand Weddings is a member of the Freedom Travel Group, part of the Cooperative Group.  The Cooperative Group are the UK’s largest travel organisation, however, as White Sand Weddings work only with wedding & honeymoon couples (and their wedding guests of course).  This ensures that our only concern is you!!

Why should I use a specialist?

We are independent which allows us to look at those tour operators that we feel will offer the best level of service.  Nowadays we can all go online to book & arrange our travel, but for something as special as your wedding or honeymoon, most couples decide that having the comfort & re-assurance of booking with a specialist is vital to them.  There are of course other reasons why travel specialists, like ourselves still exist -

We love travel & we love our clients to enjoy the destinations that we offer.  Like everywhere, there are certain times of year that are good & some are bad.  We can look at this for you & advise on where to go & where not to. 

We beleive that our prices are comparable to those that you could find & book online, with the added benefit to our clients that we are fully bonded, so if anything goes wrong with your hotel or airline such as financial failure, you are fully protected against this. 

You will of course have questions throughout the booking process and during the time between booking & departure.  We do not charge you to call us & we do not keep you on hold.  Our freephone is linked directly to an overflow call centre & so if your travel consultant is not available, we will take your details and then return you call as soon as possible. 

We are small & we care.  We like to build long term relationships with our clients, and whilst we state that we only look after wedding & honeymoon couples, we do re-book many of our previous clients holidays.  

Where are we?

We are based in Tonbridge Kent, however, we are not a retail outlet – we work in a call centre & for those that choose to visit us, we work on an appointment basis only.  (Full address below)

The majority of our clients choose to work with us by telephone & email.  Email tends to work very well when sending out quotations & is easy for our couples to print off to show the other half!! 

You will also find us at many wedding exhibitions, either under our own name & exhibition stand, or partnering as Sandals UK.

Our couples are nationwide, so whether you live 5 minutes away or 500 miles – you will receive the same high standards & for important things like sending tickets we always send these by next day, signed for delivery.

Price Comparison

Holiday prices can vary substantially between tour operators for a variety of reasons, but it is our belief we offer some of the best prices available to the destinations that we offer. If, however, you find this is not the case, please do let us know before you book elsewhere.

Security

With White Sand Weddings you can rest assured that if the worst happen your holiday or money paid for it is fully protected. We are a licensed (ATOL) bonded tour operator through the Freedom Travel Group with the Civil Aviation Authority which means they have satisfied their stringent accounts requirements and set aside a large sum of money as guarantee of protection for our clients. We are also bonded members of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) and as such must abide by a very strict code of conduct.   We strongly recommend checking www.abta.com when choosing a company to book your travel arrangements & verify that they are listed.

Regional Flights

White Sand Wedding clients travelling from Regional airports can benefit from much reduced ‘add on’ fares from selected airports in the UK via London Heathrow, Gatwick Airports, Manchester, Belfast, Glasgow, Newcastle and Edinburgh.  We are also pleased to offer a selection of charter flights from selection regional airports.

Tour Operator Partners

You may have found the honeymoon of your dreams with another tour operator or travel agent already, but are looking to combine this with our exacting level of service.  If this is the case, simply call or email us & we will do our very best to find the same option for you.  We work closely alongside Kuoni, Beachcomber, Sandals, Virgin, Thomas Cook, Thomson and First Choice, allowing you to have their products, with our customer care.

Honeymoon Vouchers

Launched early in 2006, our vouchers have proved to be especially popular.  These can be purchased as wedding gifts for you by freinds and family, and then either pay off the balance – or go towards upgrades chosen by you. 

Costs & Deposit

The costs that we offer to our clients will include all known extras, and as such there will be no additional supplements, unless we make you aware of these.  Deposits can vary on the resort chosen, but will usually start from £99 per person.  Balances are due 12 weeks prior to travel.

Payments can be made by Credit or Debit card, but there is a charge of 2% made on Credit card transactions.  Final balances can also be made by bank transfer to our ABTA account, or by cheque to ‘Freedom Travel Group’

What next?

If you have your travel dates to hand simply call us so that we can start the ball rolling for you.  This means that we will also have your details to hand for when some of our exclusive savings become available.
